A Culinary Adventure at Mama Panda Cocina in Medellín
Meet Karen at Mama Panda in Medellin.
During a recent hunger adventure in Medellín, Daze of SG Magazine had the pleasure of dining at Mama Panda Cocina with his business colleague and friend, Allan. They visited to explore the restaurant and see if it could become a new favorite spot.
From the moment they arrived, they were warmly greeted by Karen, whose hospitality truly stood out. She not only welcomed the duo with a genuine smile, but also took the time to chat with them about there interests and the nature of their business. Her bilingual skills in both English and Spanish made the entire experience comfortable and seamless, allowing them to easily communicate their preferences.
Karen’s attention to detail was remarkable. She catered to the guys needs, guided them through the menu, and even helped the customize dishes of choice. Her genuine care ensured that they left completely satisfied.
‘’I ordered the Singapore noodles, which initially came with a curry sauce. Not being a fan of the curry flavor, Karen and I collaborated to create a new blend, mixing it with a teriyaki sauce, and that’s how the SG sauce was born! , Allen enjoyed his dish in its traditional form, and we both agreed the experience was fantastic.
To complement the meal, Daze also had a cherry lemonade slushie, which was delicious though a bit challenging to sip through a straw, so he ended up using a spoon. The restaurant’s ambiance, with its beautiful scenery and vibrant music, made for a memorable dining experience.
‘’Overall, I’d give Mama Panda Cocina a solid five stars. The combination of delicious food, excellent hospitality, and a welcoming atmosphere makes it a must-visit. If you’re in Medellín, definitely stop by and ask for the SG sauce!” -Daze
